Who we are

SKIYEE is a product of HappyDale Holding LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. We make decorative 3D printed wall plaques of publicly mapped ski terrain. We sell nothing else.

We are not affiliated with any resort

SKIYEE and HappyDale Holding LLC are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or connected to any ski resort, mountain operator, or their owners. No resort has reviewed or approved these plaques. If you want a product that carries a resort's blessing, buy it from that resort.

How we use resort names

A resort name on this site identifies the place a plaque depicts, and nothing more. We use the name only as far as is needed to say which mountain you are looking at. We do not use a resort name as our own brand: the brand on the box, the plaque and this site is SKIYEE.

Place names printed on a plaque, including peaks, lodges and lift areas, come from OpenStreetMap, the open geographic database, and are printed in our own typeface at the position the map data gives.

What we never use

• No resort logo, wordmark, crest, mascot or lettering.
• No resort's own trail map artwork, colours-as-artwork, illustrations or photographs. Our geometry is generated from OpenStreetMap ways and the USGS 3DEP elevation model, never traced from a resort map.
• No resort typeface, uniform or trade dress.
• No claim that a plaque is official, authentic, licensed, endorsed or approved.
• No resort name in our company name, our domain, our social handles or our advertising as a brand.

Where the data comes from

Trail geometry is (c) OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License (ODbL), credited on this site and on the back of every plaque. Elevation is from the USGS 3DEP model, a work of the United States government. Each mountain page names the revision the plaque was built from.

If you are a resort and you want to talk to us

Email cody@happydale.net with the mountain and what concerns you. A real person reads it. We aim to reply within three business days.

If you ask us to stop selling a plaque of your mountain, we will stop selling that plaque while we talk, and we will not treat your request as an argument. We would rather work with you, including on wholesale for your own shop, than be a problem in your inbox.
